Travis Head was dropped from the West Indies white-ball team
Head will return home to Adelaide for a vacation before Australia’s T20 and Test trip to New Zealand later this month. He will not participate in the remaining two ODIs or the three T20 internationals that follow.
Travis Head, the opening batsman, has been dropped from the white-ball selection for the West Indies series, Cricket Australia revealed on Saturday.

In the first ODI at the MCG, the left-hander was unable to make an impression, but Australia won easily by eight wickets thanks to Josh Inglis (65), Cameron Green (77no), and Steve Smith (79no).
In addition, Australia announced that paceman Xavier Bartlett, who made his men’s ODI debut with the nation’s second-best statistics (4–17), will be rested from the second match after an incredible first outing in international colors.
Even though Bartlett is healthy and participated in every game of the Heat’s Big Bash championship-winning team, the selectors decided that playing three ODIs in five days would be too much work and too soon.
